Saturday Round-Up

I am a little late with the round-up but it is Saturday for another 30 minutes.  This was my last week off from work.  School starts back on Tuesday and that means back to work.  Time to cook the lunches for all the kids.

Several new projects on the stamping page and even a new recipe on the recipe page.  I also posted a craft project on the main page.  There was also a big announcement on the stamping page.

Goals for the coming week:
   1)  Stay on top of the house work.
   2)  Enjoy a long weekend with my son who is home from college...

Thoughts:
   1)  I am so glad that college football starts this weekend.
   2)  My son is home for a few days and I am so glad, but I am going to try not to get frustrated when he spends more time with friends than at home.

That is it for now.  I hope everyone has a good week.

Yarn Letters

I have seen these letters on Pinterest several times and I decided to make one.   Figured I would put it on top of my new craft book shelf.  I had been warned that they weren't easy to put together.  That the corners were always difficult.  So I was expecting the worse, but it was easier than I thought.  I think it came out really well.

I put it on the home page because there is no stamping involved.  Just a quick craft project.

I hope every one had a great weekend and that next week is equally as great.

Saturday Round Up

Hello everyone.  Well another week has come and gone.  I didn't get as much done as I would have like but that is okay.  It was still a good week.

Lots of new projects on the stamping page.

Goals for this week:
   1)  Still haven't made it back on the treadmill.  I had a wisdom tooth cut out Friday, so it will be mid week before I can get on the treadmill but I am going to try real hard to get on it on Wednesday.
   2)  Straighten the whole house.  This is the last week of summer break so I want to get every thing done.
   3)  Get out and take some pictures.

Thoughts for the week:

   1)  As I mentioned, I had a tooth pulled/cut out.  It broke several months ago and I finally made a dentist appointment.  I have never noticed but I must chew on that side of my mouth the most, because it has been awkward.

   2)  Anyone have been plans for Labor Day.  My son will be home for the long weekend so I am just looking forward to some family time, if he doesn't spend the whole time with friends.

   3)  I want some homemade cookies.  Maybe I will get around to making some this week.

Well that's it for this week.  I hope you are enjoying the weekend.

Saturday Round Up

I am going to try and get back into the swing of things and toward that end, I am going to try and close out the week every Saturday and include some of my silly thoughts.

There was lots of stamping projects posted on the stamping page and I even posted a new recipe.  I haven't taken any pictures lately but I am going to pull out my camera this week.  Hopefully, it will be some thing besides my flower bed.

My goals for the week are as follows:

   1) Get back on the treadmill.  I would love to walk/run three times this week.
   2)  Stay on top of the housework, especially in the kitchen.
   3)  Continue to stamp...
   4)  Start organizing my recipes again.

That is a starting point for goals.  Let's see how I do on them.

Thoughts for the week:  I didn't write a lot down this week.  I will have to remember to do this as the week goes by....

   1)  Where has the summer gone?  Public schools start back the week after Labor Day in Michigan and that is two weeks away.  I am ready to go back to work but I will miss being at home all day and the summer weather.  Fall will fly by with lots of activity and before we know it, there will be winter.  Enough said....

   2)  Organizing...I am usually a perfectionist.  I am always looking for quicker and better ways to do things and every thing has to have a place.  I have let some things slip but it is time to re-evaluate.

   3)  Fall flowers...What fall flowers do you like?  Especially if you live in Michigan.  I usually just put out some mums.

I am going to close with a rose picture from the world wide web.  As time goes by, I hope to use some of my flowers.

That's it for this week.  I hope every one has a great week.
